Principle of operation In the latest generation of cars, usually equipped with an on-board computer, the PETROL level indication is not updated, as was the case in previous systems, which took into account only the indication from the float in the tank, but the computer itself now does this based on the kilometers traveled and operating conditions, calculating consumption and monitoring the indicator on the dashboard, reducing fuel. When driving on GAS, the on-board computer reduces the PETROL level in any case, making it impossible to obtain the correct reading; by installing the AEB393 emulator this problem is solved, since each time the car is turned off, the emulator resets the correct fuel level.
